A Pioneering Neurological Home

Dar Bjorn is a pioneering neurological home in Malta, founded by Bjorn Formosa in 2017. It provides 24/7 nursing care and specialized treatment for individuals with severe neurological conditions, such as ALS and MS. With two homes in Qormi and Żebbuġ, Dar Bjorn hosts 43 permanent residents and is committed to improving their quality of life. The facilities include the latest medical technology, intelligent smart home systems, and a dedicated team offering various services. The foundation also works on ambitious projects like Dar Bjorn Respite, aiming to extend care to more individuals. Donations are crucial to sustaining and expanding the impactful work of Dar Bjorn.

DAR Bjorn Qormi is the first of its kind neurological home in Malta, inaugurated in November 2017. Founded by ALS sufferer Bjorn Formosa, the facility provides 24/7 nursing care and specialized treatment for 13 residents with severe neurological conditions, including ALS and MS.
